My sympathies are limited.
What really rankles is the absurd claim that executions do not deter. Frankly, if that were true - I wouldn't care - but it isn't. (Wanna know the real truth - examine Singapore's figures.) It is one more abolitionist lie that I have personally uncovered.
In 1964/5 the death penalty ended in England and Wales.
The following year, the Sunday Times furnished proof that this had led to an incredible 127% increase in capital murders!
As for claims of innocence of felons executed post WW2 in the UK, my investigations - published on this Blog - have revealed that ALL were false claims to fuel the abolitionist bandwagon.
