A radical NGO used its speaking time to smear people who organize around "family and authority", people like you and me. Allowed! they even ran over their time limit.
The United Nations claims to defend freedom of expression.
But when a pro-life and pro-family voice challenged Michelle Bachelet's candidacy for UN Secretary-General, the microphone was cut off.
During my address to the UN Human Rights Council, I followed every procedure and submitted my statement in advance. Yet my speech was interrupted simply because it criticized a candidate who openly supports abortion, gender ideology, and policies
And what was the argument they couldn't bear to let the world hear? Just this: the United Nations doesn't need symbols; it needs leadership. It doesn't need a candidacy based on identity; it needs someone capable of uniting nations.

And the timing tells you everything. In a matter of days, by late July, the UN Security Council begins its secret "straw polls" to choose the next Secretary-General.
Maybe you've never heard of "straw polls." Here's how it works: the 15 members of the Security Council receive secret ballots where they mark each candidate "encourage," "discourage," or "no opinion." No cameras. No records. No accountability. Round after round, candidates are quietly pushed out until only one name is left standing, and the General Assembly's "vote" in September simply rubber-stamps it.
Bureaucrats behind closed doors. No public debate. No vote you will ever cast.
Once they settle on a name, the September vote in the General Assembly is a mere formality.
The next Secretary-General will control billions in UN funding and preside over the very summits where abortion is pushed into our countries' laws.
Bachelet has already told us exactly what she would do: she claims abortion is "firmly rooted" in international human rights law.
That is who they are protecting from your scrutiny.
