I was horrified how many traitors from 1930 to the early 50s remained effectively unpunished for their appalling treachery - provided they gave minimal amounts of information to our government about other spies. A number were not even sacked!
Where did these traitors all come from? - The vast majority were, of course, Marxists from wealthy families who had studied at Cambridge and belonged to the notorious leftist group there known as the Apostles.
They were then recruited into senior positions to work amongst our nation's military secrets and hand them directly over to Moscow.
Cambridge became an abomination in a free, democratic society. (We must not think, however, that Oxford was all that much less corrupt.)
Blunt, Maclean, Philby, Burgess, Blake ... the infamous names never seemed to stop coming up.
The soft left is one thing but the hard left is still riddled TODAY with the very same sorts of individuals.
Ever wonder why our goverment system does not work? - Well. It is even more stretched than ever before with: fifth columnists, quislings renegades and betrayers. I wonder how many of these supporters still like to betray to Russia? More than a few, I would wager but today it is perhaps more likely to be China, Cuba, N.Korea etc.
