The selective and profoundly limited CPI [Consumer Price Index] on inflation indicates a level less than half that of the price rises shown in the RPI [Retail Price Index].So naturally the RPI is deceitfully ignored by the government in calculating pay rises and rates of inflation.
The government is deliberately misleading us because this suits its own purposes.
