BEBO

Heard of BEBO? Most youngsters have. Certainly most of my readers will not have done before today. This is a website infected by images of drugs, guns and appalling violence amongst youngsters.
Countless thousands go onto it daily and attempt to outbrag each other in riotous behaviour.

Why is this site not closed down? Why are all sites of this type not shut down instantly by the Internet Service Providers?

Similarly, why do the ISPs not shut down all child pornography sites - the responsibility is entirely theirs?

Why is this not monitored like Facebook?

I visited and simply put in the words 'guns' and 'drugs'. Er. Yes.

I spoke to a computer expert later in the day and he told me how these people operate and weeding out the child porn merchants is certainly very difficult BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE!
