The old fashioned Pentecostal preachers - and I heard more than a few - were always very fond of pointing out that "We are not promised tomorrow." It is true. We cannot delay 'getting ourselves right with God' as we have no idea when 'our number is up'!The teaching comes from 1 Corinthians 6:2 "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."
