EU profligacy continues unabated.

I note that figures released by the EU's statistical agency, Eurostat, reveal that the cost of EU officials' pensions is expected to double over the next 30 years, from £1 billion to £2 billion per year.
I am sure that British taxpayers will not begrudge a penny of this - or indeed, inflation-linking. Our taxes could not possibly go to a more worthy cause!
