South Africa's advertising watchdog has banned a tv ad which shows angels falling from heaven because they have apparently been attracted to a man's deodorant - after a complaint from a Christian.
Astonishing! - Welcome - but astonishing! The point is that we have a widespread, subtle and well-planned devaluing and undermining of Christianity throughout society- in precisely the same way that we see portrayed everywhere: 'Jesus the wimp', cute little devils with tiny horns whilst wearing boyish grins, harps played on clouds, 'sin is just a bit of fun', etc, etc.If I had thought that this was the start of the 'fightback' - I would have been quite excited.
(I suppose this sees my Christian credentials outweighing my libertarian tendencies once again.)
