Scunthorpe wins Google award for UK's fastest growing online hub.

Forget Silicon Roundabout - the prize for the UK's fastest growing hub of online commercial activity goes to...Scunthorpe.

According to the web search giant, businesses in Scunthorpe grew their activity online by more than 47pc, as measured by use of Google's Adwords advertising system, putting it ahead of Hartlepool, Lymington, Lewes and Middlesborough. [Telegraph.]
