I am most gratified that in one area at least, the inexorable march of the left has seemingly been checked - and perhaps even pushed back.
Not once this year have I seen anything or anybody trying to 'push' the wearing of white poppies - that rather dim and profoundly offensive idea from the Peace Pledge Union.
Not only is this a dreadful insult to countless millions past and present - ironically this is exacerbated by promoting the very flower from whence cometh - heroin!
