18% of French voters voted for the extreme rightwinger, Marine Le Pen yesterday in the first election for the presidency.
The French have a history of voting for extremes. At times, similar numbers have voted communist. Add hard left and hard right together this time and one third of voters are pursuing extremes.
Shame on them for either response.
As for Le Pen's total, those who have refused  proper immigration restraints must shoulder a significant amount of the responsibility.
