WHAT a farce the deportation of Abu Qatada is becoming, and it illustrates the ineptitude of our Government to act decisively and quickly to safeguard our safety.
One has to pose the question “Who is running this country?” – certainly not our elected government but the ECJ, ECHR and the EU combined.
This unsatisfactory state of affairs cannot continue for we are becoming the laughing stock of the world and we are viewed as an easy target for terrorists, illegal immigrants and criminals.
We must have a referendum to leave the EU and its bureaucratic and over-regulatory system before the UK submerges under the welter of directives and the over-powerful legal system.
