Alicia Castro Talking Balderdash.

THE Argentinian ambassador to the UK, Alicia Castro, has described the Falkland Islands as a “colonial enclave” which must be “given back to Latin America” as a whole. Ah. So it is no longer an issue of an Argentine landgrab, then?

Ms Castro clearly has no grasp of democratic principles in any case. The islanders almost 100% wish to remain British. (I only say 'almost' so as not to be accused of exaggeration. There may be a single deluded Falklander somewhere ...)

Now let us examine the logic of 'returning the islands to Latin America as a whole', shall we?

The hispanic conquest of that continent only dates to the sixteenth century and we must be logical, must we not? - Consequently, might I suggest that every country in Central, South and indeed, N. America should be returned to the indigenous indian peoples?
