In Mark 7 when Jesus explains that it is actually sin which makes people 'unclean', He gives a list. That list includes folly!
In other word, being stoopid or foolish is sinful.
It is my understanding that we have all been given a certain level of intelligence which we should live up to - and certainly not fall below.
