We use MILES in the UK so why does National Geographic Channel use kilometres for UK-based, UK-made, UK-watched TV? (CF: Bloody Tales of The Tower.)
When I drive in Spain - fine. I adjust to kilometres. If NG argues that the programmes have to be sold in other countries - I can think of a number of ways around the problem. Why can't they?
