Miners' Strike.

Living no more than a mile and a quarter from Orgreave, the best part of 30 years ago, I popped down to see what was really going on.
Restrained police.
Far too restrained police in the face of the appalling behaviour of some troublemakers.
At one point - a miners' charge led to two police vehicles having to reverse away at great speed. One of the drivers was not quite as good as the other at power-reversing as my own photo taken at the time clearly shows.
