Mr Farage Talking Even More Sense.

UKIP Leader Nigel Farage has rejected the claims from Germany's Gunther Krichbaum, a leading ally of Angela Merkel, that holding a referendum on our membership of the EU would be bad for Europe, and risked leaving Britain isolated.“Britain has no interest in being part of Germany’s desire for a deeply integrated federal Europe. It is a bit rich of him to accuse Britain of blackmail, when his own statement conceals veiled threats," Mr Farage said.

“... we have had a senior American official and a senior German official both tell us what would be in their best interests. They then pretend that those interests are shared by the people of Britain. They are not.
“How dare they threaten and bully us? As good friends and supposed lovers of democracy they should be happy that Britain still has the liberty to make important decisions for itself.
“If I were a suspicious man I might suggest that these statements from foreign officials both visiting the UK, and parroting the Cameron line about the UK staying in the EU might been coordinated.
“Why is everybody so afraid of democracy?”
