One of Christian Concern's longtime friends and supporters, John Scriven, has just had his first book published.

Entitled Belief and the Nation, the book sets out a Christian approach to current concerns such as the welfare state, education, crime and punishment, marriage and family and the beginning and end of life. John, a practising lawyer, brings clarity to what are often complicated issues.
