Laudanum created vast swathes of drug addiction
throughout Victorian society. It was a tincture made with approximately 10%
opium powder.
Laudanum was available over-the-counter from
every pharmacy and was dirt cheap.
Whole groups of people were addicted and
countless individuals relied on this noxious substance.
Of course - it did have genuine medicinal
properties too but overall - it was a social dragdown.
Perhaps we should legalise such
substances in today's society, huh?
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
