Maureen Greaves.

Maureen Greaves' husband, a church organist, was savagely butchered by a pair of lowlifes last Christmas Eve in Sheffield.
I am delighted to hear that she has been prepared to offer her forgiveness - a truly Christian gesture which is right and proper.
Holding bitterness in your heart is not allowed us.
I stand outside this as a member of a society which is NOT required by God to be forgiving.
Retribution is called for.
Once again we have this apparent paradox,
society must rigorously punish: the individual must forgive.
When either of these factors is absent - the entire sytem is out of kilter.
