UKIP - 'A Flash In The Pan?'

Mr Danny Alexander, the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, said the laws promising an EU referendum" had been "conjured" by the Conservatives to see off the threat of Ukip.
Speaking on the BBC's Andrew Marr Show, criticised the Conservatives for letting the political agenda be led by Ukip, predicting they will be a political flash in the pan. Telegraph.
Of course, the gentleman may be perfectly correct as voters are known for being notoriously fickle.
Nonetheless, this is the kind of dangerous thinking from the LibLabCon which truly warms my heart.
They are underestimating the scorn in which LibLabCon politicians are held by so many ordinary people. WONDERFUL!  Referenda, genuine immigration controls - and even if the ECHR were to be abolished and every voter receive a £1,000 cheque - they do not seem to grasp that the genie is now out of the bottle - it is probably all too little - and too late.  I am not a natural optimist but do think that if Ukip can win the EU elections in the UK - which is highly probable - our politics will never be the same again!

If Only I Could Disagree.
