Stop HS2.

Every day comes another body blow to the prospects of HS2 ever being built. This grand white elephant has in recent days had to suffer from reports from the Institute of Economic Affairs, which foretold a doubling of costs, the Treasury which said much the same, and today we have the happy sight of the former Chancellor who signed off the project, Alistair Darling admitting that the project should be still born.
