Cohabiting couples now account for more than half of all family breakdowns.

Harry Benson of the Marriage Foundation, which conducted the research, said:
“We have an epidemic of family breakdown because so few people realise how badly the odds of success are stacked against unmarried cohabitees.” Christian Concern.
