It is not known whether or not this plane has been the victim of sabotage by terrorists - and I am unable to comment one way or another until this is verified.
What I will say, is that if this is the case, it is morally degenerate to allow the perpetrators to continue sharing life on this planet with the rest of us. 'He who sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed.'
When you remove the death penalty entirely from the statute books - when cases like this come along - where do you go? Where can you go? - Prison is singularly inappropriate and wholly inadequate.
