About 1.5 million Brits
live elsewhere in the European Union.
They might have to come back if we left the
EU.
Roughly 3 million Brits have moved to non-EU countries. They don’t have to come back. British expats in Spain take money out of the
UK and into Spain; it’s in Spain’s economic interests to allow them to
stay.
By contrast, uncontrolled EU
immigration is bringing people to the UK who are undercutting British workers
and putting people out of work. That
isn’t in the UK’s economic interests – we need a points-based system like
Australia where we get the skills we need, and only the skills we
need.
