Feminism & Equality, Huh?

The point made here is an important one. After sitting as a Magistrate for a decade, it is abundantly clear to me that pressure was generally exerted on the Bench towards lower sentences for women offenders. Advice from the Clerk (Legal Advisor) seemed to tend in this direction as a general principle.
