Mum.

So many forget that this is an important commandment in the age where 'society must do everything'. Shortly before I began this Blog, we took my recently widowed Mum into our home with the promise that she would be welcome until it became impossible for us to cope. This meant that our home was her home until her death five and a half years later. It was difficult because she had some evidence of Alzheimers, narrow attitudes and occasional unpleasant outbursts. I was not always as Godly as I would have wished in my responses but I was delighted that, as far as she permitted me to do so, I honoured her. I loved her and miss her.

I hope most Americans had a Godly Thanksgiving.
