Optimism For 2015?

It is difficult to be optimistic about 2015. Against a backcloth of world persecutions increasing by the day, we have seen constant attacks throughout 2014 on The Christian Faith in the UK, in a manner that would never be tolerated if Muslims, Sikhs and Hindus were to be challenged in similar fashion.
Could you imagine a Hindu being arrested for publicly promoting his/her faith? - No, of course not. What an absurd idea.
Politically, the wicked lies and defamations made against UKIP have bordered criminal and the establishment media should feel ashamed for their distortions.
I am delighted by this piece in the Huffington Post which puts things into a correct perspective:
But do note that although the bulk of the comments are positive - there are still some which attack the article. Look carefully at these and note just how weak those challenges are - they tend to be insult-based and are not in any way debated. Not one of the points raised and backed by abundant references is undermined.
Too many people are falling for these leftist presentations and it could dramatically affect the result on May the 7th. Pure lies about UKIP and the NHS, alleged racism et al help make the UKIP brand unfairly 'toxic' in some eyes.
Please vote UKIP and encourage everyone you know to seek the real truth.
With Christianity subject to so many lies and distortions too, UKIP and the Faith have much in common. Do remember that UKIP is NOT a Christian Party but has become a second home for a great many evangelicals. Democracy may not always work for The Gospel, but it generally helps the Faith.

Galatians 2.

  16) I  know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ...
