Scientists from the University of Bristol surveyed 1,254 pet rabbit owners in England to find that 60 per cent lived on their own, limiting their opportunity to be sociable. Mail.
Think about it. Rabbits are active, social animals. How fair is it for them to be living on their own in the restricted conditions of a small hutch? Are you active and sociable? Well, how would life in solitary confinement suit you - and for a crime you have not even committed, let alone one for which you have been convicted?
