This Blog has consistently applauded the
efforts of Marine Le Pen to remove Le Front National from the hard right of
French politics and place it in the respectability of the centre right as
happened in Spain in the 80s with the Alianza Popular.
It is disappointing that her aged and,
might I say, somewhat egregious father has seemingly been trying his utmost to
wreck her laudable attempts.
