Tortoiseshell Butterflies.

Well - we have a goodly number around the house at the moment. Surprising maybe, as it is only a few years ago that lepidopterists and assorted scientists were telling us that these were seriously endangered. (Experts again?) The one interesting fact, however, is that these are all a smaller than the standard sized ones we have been so used to seeing in the past.
