Gossling and Moors, a vicious couple, enticed a young man with severe learning difficulties to their flat in Bournemouth, stabbed him to death before walking away happily hand in hand.
They are to be sentenced to lengthy spells in a comfortable prison for this heinous atrocity.
When the simpleminded and terminally well-meaning abolished the capital penalty in 1964 - what they did was to state effectively that 'no crime can ever warrant death'. They were wrong!
