THE PRIME Minister has packed a key Government committee in control of Brexit with all her anti-EU Cabinet ministers, it has emerged. In an apparent statement of intent she won’t allow Britain’s EU exit to be watered down, Theresa May is set to appoint all six members of her Cabinet who backed Leave during the EU referendum to oversee Brexit talks.
Following her appointment as Prime Minister this summer, Mrs May announced she will take charge of three new ministerial committees on Brexit, the economy and social reform.
Now, in a leaked document seen by Bloomberg, a full membership list of the Brexit committee has revealed all current Cabinet ministers who supported quitting the EU on June 23 will have a say on the UK’s departure from the bloc. By GREG HEFFER, Express POLITICAL REPORTER
