THE people voted on Brexit but those who presume to know better still refuse to listen. Labour’s second-most senior member of the European Parliament has been uncovered deleting lines in EU documents which promised to “respect” the referendum result.
Richard Corbett MEP has repeatedly called for the UK to “rethink” Brexit because for him and Labour it was the wrong result.
Now he stands accused of using “sneaky wrecking tactics” to try to thwart British democracy. What a bare-faced cheek the moaning Remainers have to fly brazenly in the face of the majority view. Express.
I have encountered and uncovered the egregious tactics of this devious little man over many years. Happily, I was able to be present at the count and actually watch him lose his seat as an MEP back in 2009. Tragically, he got it back in 2014.
