Italy Flexing Its EU Exit Muscles?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-3996058/Will-Quitaly-sink-EU-Tomorrow-No-vote-referendum-Italy-lead-Europe-spark-economic-crisis-writes-ROBERT-HARDMAN.html

The silly thing is that there are so many allegedly intelligent people who have failed to see the inevitable dissolution of an unwieldy project built entirely on foundations of: myth, propaganda, prodigality, self-absorption, nastiness, rampant imperialism and corruption.
They want the project to work - ergo 'it is a great idea which is unstoppable!'
Well, I have long argued that the EU is far more likely to foment war than to prevent it.
In the UK, we are fortunate that there is no swing whatsoever to the hard right - merely to the benign pragmatism of Ukip: a party which is no more than anti-establishment group determined to restore democracy to our nation. In more volatile countries - this will not be the outcome.
The backlash against lost democracy, free speech and sovereignty has been bubbling below the surface for many years. Well, that volcano may well be about to erupt.
This is not 'A European Project' but the flimsiest house of cards imaginable.
Empires always implode in the end. I am surprised that this feeble effort has lasted as long as it has as these 'godlike' politicos have consistently spat in the faces of the people they purport to represent.

A Verse of Great Encouragement.
