I have read the manifesto put out by Anne-Marie Waters and am happy to see that it is not as extreme as I had expected - but does perhaps leave the door open to some rather extreme ideas if she wanted to turn these into future policy. In any case, I do not care for her brand of confrontationalism which can achieve nothing in the longer term.
In essence: the document is poorly presented; smacks too much of rabble-rousing, and combines this with a worrying level of vagueness. It does not scream of great intelligence, IMHO.
She is one of two candidates who, if elected, would result in my severing all ties with Ukip. (The other is Peter Whittle.)
Much as I like David Kurten - and feel that the election of a black politician would silence so many lefties - I must state that I find him a tad shallow and doubt that he possesses the requisite credentials for the top job.
The jury is out for me on John Rees-Evans. He certainly claims to possess the correct Christian background but some of his political pronouncements have appeared rather bizarre to me - and can only make him a future target for more press ridicule.
If he were elected, 'I would consider my position' over a short portion of his leadership.
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
