Deep down inside, we know, each and every one of us, that we would have made similar bad choices.
When you consider free will as a concept and consider all of the ramifications emanating from the incidents in Eden, it is considerably easier to grasp why God is not constantly 'interfering' and 'fiddling' with His creation.
This is why prayer is so very vital. It invites God right back into His creation.
