Changing Money on Airports.

I recently travelled through a local airport where a shylock money-changer was in operation giving some 0.90 cents to a pound. Before leaving home I had ordered euros at 1.10.
TWENTY cents difference with every pound exchanged!
Buy one hundred pounds of euros - LOSE TWENTY.

That people can be so dim as to get taken like this is not a great problem. Traders offering apples at five pounds each deserve the fact that they will fail to make a profit and people stoopid enough to purchase ... 
But what of those who are forced to travel at very short notice because of death, disaster or serious family illness? Such people may have to buy 'five pound apples'.
To say that I was angry was an understatement!
