To be fair to Theresa May - something I shall still attempt to do, even for her - the disgraceful parliamentary shenanigans of the wretched, anti-democratic remainers are the real reason why this impasse has been reached.
The May deal is a mere shadow of what Brexit ought to be - but I can now see us never leaving that thrice-cursed body called the EU and she must, nonetheless, shoulder a significant portion of the responsibility - if only because of her terminal ineptitude.
