Children like Leah Sharibu.
Yesterday I was privileged to be joined by Leah’s mother Rebecca, as I led CSW’s protest and prayer vigil outside the Nigerian High Commission in London.
Two years ago yesterday, Leah went to school as usual in Dapchi, Nigeria. But she never came home.
She was abducted, along with 109 other girls, by the ISWAP faction of Boko Haram. A month later, the other girls were released, following negotiations by the government. Leah, a Christian, was not released because she refused to convert in exchange for her freedom.
Leah is still in captivity. She has been robbed of her education and her future.
I promised Rebecca we won’t rest until Leah is free: we’ll keep on advocating, campaigning and praying for as long as we need to. It was a great honour to be able to do that together with Rebecca yesterday.
Your gift of £10 will help to bring justice to people suffering for what they believe.

As we stand with Leah, we remember that she is not alone: many others are facing harassment and persecution because of their religious beliefs.
Last May, Jireh David Ma’aji left her home to attend a regular sewing class. When she arrived, the centre was closed, but Jireh never made it home. She was abducted, forced to convert and to marry a Muslim man. Despite her attempt to escape and her family’s efforts to get her home, she is still missing.
We’re working for girls like Jireh, Leah and so many others whose freedom, education and futures are taken from them.
Will you partner with us and help those facing injustice because of their religious beliefs?
Your generosity means we’re able to keep campaigning for Leah, Jireh and many others. By God’s grace we’ll see their futures restored to them.
Thank you so much for partnering with us as we tackle injustice, campaign for freedom and stand with those who are suffering.
As ever in Christ

P.S. We appreciate your kindness, and will put your gift to work tackling injustice and partnering for freedom. Please join us in praying for Leah, Jireh and others forcibly parted from their families. Thank you. CSW.
