No Child Should Ever Be Smacked Under Such Circumstances.

Actor Martin Freeman admits he smacks his kids when he is 'impatient and at the end of his rope'.

Blogger: As one who supports a smack for extreme naughtiness, vindictiveness or wilful refusal to obey - I am profoundly upset by this confession.
Firstly, it adds grist to the abolitionist mill - you know - the do-gooders who possess no sense of justice or right and wrong.
Secondly, all physical punishments must be the result of a carefully and clearly constructed and predetermined plan.
I accept that striking a child in a burst of rage or frustration is utterly wrong.
