People in London and Paris are returning to work gradually - with a huge disparity in the use of protective masks between the two capitals, Euronews reports.
Over the past 24 hours, commuters travelling on public transport in both locations has increased to a limited extent; London Underground tube network says that there's been a 10% jump in passengers during peak hours.
Yet it's far from similar to the pre-pandemic experience – there are now soap dispensers in all stations and local government body Transport For London is asking everyone to wear facemasks, even though that is not a legal requirement. It has estimated that less than 10% of London commuters are wearing them. Aol.
