Perhaps we should despise the French for what happened all that time ago.

Maybe we should demand apologies and blame every living Frenchman for what occurred 213 years ago today.

We should maybe point out that they were white - however irrelevant that may be.

Obviously, statues of Napoleon will all need to come down! Paintings will have to be destroyed and the Napoleonic Code abandoned!

OR, alternatively - we could refer to this as 'a tragic event in HISTORY' and move on as any normal people would!
