I see the news media in the UK are full on with climate change. Certainly it is a stated policy that BBC will show no news contrary to the mantra of climate change being the result of anthropogenic factors and I believe Sky is the same. It looks like all of the mass media is the same.
Climate scientists tell us it is our fault that the climate is changing. I don’t know one geologist or physicist who says this. In fact, a group of 500 scientists have written to the UN to state that man is not solely responsible for a changing climate. Was that reported on? Not that I have seen. 97% of scientists believe in anthropogenic climate change is the usual uttering. It is just not true.
It was a group of activists (Citizen Scientists, as they called themselves) who came up with that number after googling nearly 12,000 science papers on climate + anthropogenic effect. A group of proper scientists analysed the same papers and found that 0.3% of papers stated that climate change was due to man.
It is a tragedy that the UN is ignoring real science and spreading fear of impending climate doom due to the actions of man. The media is blind and have become climate criers and anyone who questions it is called a climate denier. No right minded scientist is going to standby and be called that. Me included. The climate is changing. It has changed before and it will change again. Man needs to adapt rather than arrogantly think that it can be stopped. Sorry to say that if these climate doom prophets have their way, poor people around the world are going to suffer.
Generally, we have done a good job in lifting poor people out of poverty in the last 50 or so years. Just look at China. To stop the development for some scientifically unproven politically driven ideology is frankly insane. Anyway, this scientist has said his piece.
