When Vandals Attacked Rome - Who Did We Want To Win?

 In the 5th and 6th centuries, The Roman Empire took a real battering from the Vandals, both in Europe and N. Africa.

But who did we want to win? - In this dispute which was also between Roman Catholics versus The Aryan Heresy - it was surely the former which we wanted to prevail.
The unitarianism of the Vandals was considerably further away from what might be recognisable as genuine Christianity!
