Blogger: I began teaching in comprehensives in 1975 and obligatory Daily Corporate Acts of Worship; hymns; understanding the Bible in lessons; Scripture and Divinity classes were all already threatened and were part of the reason why Mrs Blogger and I set up a successful Christian School which ran for 32 years. Comprehensives were also obliged by Law to teach Religious education - and so many simply didn't.
Teaching RS lessons in that school for over two decades, the contrast became clear as to how the atheistic left had managed to gut almost all realistic possibilities of children leaving school having any real knowledge of what Christianity is about.
It was well hidden away amongst a glut of multi-faith nonsense.
In Handsworth Christian School, however, I was free to teach to two GCSE units: one on Mark's Gospel and one which we may loosely call Ethics. The children there got no more, no less than what I had received as a state school pupil in the 50s and 60s. They knew what all had previously known.
How terrible that those people with an agenda of evil have destroyed a fully rounded education for almost all our children. They will need to answer for this on The Day of Judgement.
