Blogger: the main problem is that the government has already had to 'conjure up' a trillion pounds of debt - or more - for Covid, hospitals, floods, so-called refugees (not to be confused with the real refugees who are on their way.) and countless other emergencies.
Waving a magic wand is one thing but all these extras incur huge long term debt for the nation. If only all the political parties had not been quite so cavalier with regard to 'Net Zero' posturing!
