Blogger: Well, you see, this season of the year is known as WINTUH (alternative spelling: WINTER).
It is generally cold.
(Sorry to have to get technical.) Cold weather is not a clue as to when the next ice age will develop just as much as a hot July is no clue to microscopic amounts of global warming appearing.
'Weather' is not a word which is interchangeable with 'climate'.
