Gary Lineker 'earns' roughly 8 times as much as the PM does - when he is only a bog standard broadcaster on a publicly-funded broadcasting organisation.
In other words, I am being expected to part fund this extortionate waste of public money.
I'd wager that there must be queues of top quality former footballers who would happily do his job for £80k now their playing days of eye-wateringly well-paid contracts are behind them.

Our dear left-wingers are virtually always quiet about huge pay packets for luvvies, sports people and assorted entertainers. However, they challenge the 'disgrace' of the owners of medium firms having pay packets of, say, £300k, who 'do not pay anything like enough taxes'. They target entrepreneurs and utterly opt to forget that business is the lifeblood of our nation.
May they reverse this folly in their thinking.
