England began well in taking three wickets in the morning session but a succession of errors probably handed command of the match to the Aussies during the later sessions and they have wrested any perceived advantage away from England's grasp.
If the Aussies continue to bat well, they may reasonably expect to steal a first innings lead tomorrow.
